The time we have all been waiting for is here and Leviathan, the launch box for the 10th edition of Warhammer 40,000 is almost up for pre order! Games Workshop sent us a free copy to unbox, paint up and check out on the site, and so in this post we’ll be digging into the contents of the set, taking a look at the new models for the Space Marines and Tyranids, seeing what the story is with the Leviathan Chapter Approved card deck and seeing what you get for your money with this massive new launch box. Although, on an interesting note, GW separated grenades as different wargear options and their knife that explodes on hits of a 6+ now has -1 AP.There is no peace amongst the stars, for in the grim darkness of the far future, there is only war. While these guys are the newest Primaris Troop to hit the line it’s not super surprising. It looks like there weren’t any basic profile or wargear changes to the Incursor Squad.
The Hobby Products & Tools We Swear By Incursor Squad Changes We’ll have to see how useful these guys are with all of the other changes that take place within the October Space Marine codex. Wargear is better and their basic statline stayed the same. Another shocking change that DIDN’T take place is the fact that the Scout Boltgun didn’t have its range boosted although we saw regular firstborn Marine Boltguns also go up to 30″. Definitely interesting to see Scouts left out of all the wound sharing lately. It seems like GW sees that extra layer of power armor around firstborn Marines as an extra wound. Starting with the Scout Squad, surprisingly, the Scouts didn’t get that extra wound.
